Steadfast Convention
Overview
The Steadfast Convention is a yearly event that unites people in the industry to celebrate their journey with brokers, strategic partners, and service providers. Each year features unique themes and branding that reflect current industry trends and changes.
My Role
Steadfast needed a website refresh to capture the essence of their physical event online. Working alongside my art director, our goal was to create a flexible design system that allows for easy updates to logos, colours, and graphics each year while maintaining a consistent look.

Process
Transforming the Steadfast Convention website
First, an audit of the existing content was conducted, followed by enhancements to the user interface. Essential site elements were broken down into reusable components and combined to develop key pages such as the homepage, event page, speakers page, and more. During the audit, unused content was identified and the structure was streamlined by removing unnecessary elements to improve usability across the entire website.
Homepage redesign and annual theme adaptation
The redesigned homepage features a clean layout with intuitive navigation, highlighting key event details and clear call-to-action buttons. The design ensures visitors can easily find information about the schedule, speakers, and registration. Each year, the homepage layout is updated with new patterns, colours, and graphics to reflect the convention’s unique branding and theme.
Design System development
A comprehensive design system was developed to ensure consistent application of typography, icons, colours, and overall brand language across all aspects of the Steadfast Convention website and materials.
